OK
– we are getting super excited! We are only days away until we will open
the doors and welcome you all in!
We
have started to turn the lights on. And our lights will surely turn you
on! 😎
With
the help of some talented people and creative ideas, we’ve been able to add a
certain uniqueness to our new restaurant. We hope you enjoy some of the
special features!
Like – these “Patron Pendants” that are scattered throughout the restaurant:
These were made after emptying many, many bottles of Patron
from our Coopersburg location (a special thank you to our Lehigh County
friends), and then crafting the guts to fit securely to form a pendant
lamp. The craziest issue was to find a
glass cutter who could cut a whole perfectly in the bottom of the bottle. Anyone who has every held a Patron Silver
bottle knows they are extremely thick.
After calling more than 25 companies we finally could contract with Alderfer Glass Co. who cut more than 25 bottles for us.
Then off to the vineyards in Napa Valley. We envisioned bull horns lit above the
bar. We were able to contract with an artisan
guy in California, the land of fruits and nuts…who came up with this original
display:
This one of a kind fixture is 6 feet wide and hangs above
our 32-foot bar. It is made of copper
barrel straps and surely gives our motif another special uniqueness. The fellow who actually did this, Michael Weiss of Wine Country Craftsman on Etsy, thanked us for the opportunity and always offered us his
salutation... "Have a groovy day! Cheers!"
Today we had All Season Tinting come out and tint all our
front windows to take some of the harsh glare off those windows. Nothing like having a cool cocktail in the
afternoon with the sun blaring in at you. My motto... "I always look better in a dimmed light."
Thank you guys!
We
are almost open and can’t wait to open our doors for you. Counting down
the days and unpacking the dishes...
See ya soon Amigos!!!!
Stay tuned for our Grand Opening announcement and Press Release!
We were so excited to see a Mexican restaurant in upper bucks county. We decided to go tonight, unfortunately we will never go back! We were a party of 5 my son an I sat at bar to wait for the rest of our party to arrive. We had a great time at bar friendly bartender bit then we were seated in dining room. Our server Eddie only know he's name because we had to ask some else took awhile to get our drink order so my son took that hint an ordered an appetizer while waiting an waiting our waiter Eddie came over an asked if we're ready to order diner we said yes we ordered 2 ground beef enchiladas 1 chicken enchilada an 1 shrimp fajita an 1 chicken fajita. Still waiting on appetizer going on 30 min. Finally I ask busser about appetizer an we were told it be out in a bit. Whole time our server seemed to be ignoring us because he was at table next to us numerous times but didn't bother to do anything about helping us with where is our food. Now 1hr passes still no food tables are leaving so restaurant is emptying out still no food I finally ask again losing my patience now cause now I just want to leave Eddie comes back An said "we're next in line for the cooks" it will be out shortly! 25 mins later we get our food sooo disappointed our enchiladas were microwaves hard on outside an only hot in middle rice was cold the fajitas came out looking amazing BUT ONE SOFT SHELL FOR ALL THAT FOOD???? The side plate for the fajitas was a joke what a mess and they weren't given another plate to eat off of! We had to ask busser for our check or waiter finally came over to pick check up said sorry an hurried along his way! He knew we weren't happy did offer once for us to talk to manager! We will never be returning an unfortunately anyone asks me about this place I will tell them my experience!
